About Us
We are an umbrella Organization and mouthpiece for economic, social and Political matters of Ibiono Ibom nation. Founded on May 13, 1932 and incorporated under the Land (Perpetual Succession) Act Cap. 98 Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1958, the Ibiono Ibom Welfare and Development Union came into existence following the desire of Ibiono Ibom people living at home and in the diaspora to forge a united, strong and common front that will advocate for and vigorously pursue broad-based social, political, economic, educational and cultural development ends for our people. With over 15 branches all over Nigeria and the continuous efforts to establish new ones, IWADU has through the years remained a politically non-partisan organization that fosters, promote and cement lasting love, unity and cooperation among the clans, villages and individuals from the Local government.
